Maniratnam’s new film starrring Karthik and Dulquer Salman

Maniratnam is geared up for his new movie after his recent hit OK Bangaram in Telugu and OK Kanmani in Tamil. He is rejoicing as his latest film fared well at the box office, giving a hit talk and good response from the audience. Maniratnam has been delivering a series of flops in his career since a couple of years. OK Kanmani film has given a break to his series of flop movies.


Maniratnam latest film details

Maniratnam has roped in two happening heroes who are popular stars in their regional industries. Dulquer Salman of OK Bangaram fame and Karthik, a talent actor from Tamil film industry, have accepted to work with Manirantnam after listening to the script. Dulquer has impressed Amitabh Bachhan with his performance in OK Bangaram. Previously the director approached Nagarjuna and Maheshbabu with the script but both of them denied after listening to the final script. The shooting of film is expected to start in September.

It has been officially confirmed that Karthik and Dulquer Salman will play the lead in the movie. Earlier Maniratnam had plans to bring Aishwarya Rai and Shruthi Hassan as the female leads in the movie. Talks are being held with the leading ladies of the industry. We should wait and see who will be the. The director has popularized the theme of “living together” all over India. The fact is that this type of relation is not commonly practiced in India. After his flick, this theme became a hot topic to every teenager in the country.

Mani Ratnam is a reputed filmmaker, producer and screenwriter. He is one of the biggest directors in Tamil industry and a respectful director in India. Each of his film features unique style, beautiful photography. He gave a blockbuster hit in 1986 through Mouna Raagam. This followed superhits like Nayakan (Nayakudu), Agni Nakshathram (Gharshana), Gitanjali,  Anjali, Dhalapathy, Roja, Thiruda Thiruda (Donga Donga), Bombay, e.t.c. After making a few Hindi flicks, he returned to the south with Alaipayuthe (Sakhi). He experienced a series of flops for a couple of years. and finally made a comeback in the industry with OK Bangaram.
