“They might be jumping the gun a bit.” No kidding. We HATE Mitt Romney. No way he gets our vote.

  • gramma

He should say he supports Gary Johnson. That would be a kick in the pants for the Republicans.

    • Honesty777

No he should’nt Johnson is only Viable in 40 states He’s a looser besides Ron Paul is not a Libertarian because the Libertarian party chose to be pro death of pre born Children and Ron Paul is 100% pro life and so are we!!!

      • tonythebrain

I’m not. Speak for yourself. As Goldwater put it “abortion is not a conservative issue”.

      • GOPsucksDONKEYballsPUNintended

Abortion doesn’t belong in federal politics… NO social issues belong anywere in politics. Don’t base your vote on a social issue. Thats what uneducated, ignorant, foolish people do. Base your vote on 3 things: 1. Monetary Policy. 2. Foreign Policy. 3. Voting Record (constitutional or not). Basing votes on social issues is what got Bush elected… see what happened there? Be smart… not stupid.
Also, Johnsons name will be on the ballot in all 50 states! not only 40, so check your facts. I hope, that due to the obvious ousting of him and his delegates that Ron Paul will team up with Gary Johnson as his VP. I really don’t think we’d win (unless we were in all the debates – Ron Paul would make Biden and Ryan look like retared elemntary schoolers in comparison. And Johnson would hold his own against Obummer, and destoy Nitt-Witt Romney)… but it would give us a number on how many votes the Liberty Movement would actually garnish at this point in time (i’m guessing between 17% – 23%) . Add the number of Votes for Romney to that total… and you have the total amount of votes RP would have received as the Republican Candidate.
At that point, we throw the entire thing in the GOP’s face. Publicly call thm out for our ousting… then point our fingers only at them; when obama leads our country further down the hole. I say this with conidence:
4 years of Obama is less risky than 8 years of , Mr. Flip Flop..Mitt -silly rabit, integrity is for kids- Romney.

        • http://www.facebook.com/foznor John Foster

Too late — Johnson has already named his VP.

      • doodls

You are wrong on both counts. Gary Johnson will be on the ballot in all 50 states. And the Libertarian position on abortion, as written in their platform is: “Recognizing that abortion is a sensitive issue and that people can hold good-faith views on all sides, we believe that government should be kept out of the matter, leaving the question to each person for their conscientious consideration.”

  • NDGirl4Paul

    Protest vote – Gary Johnson.

Not sure it’s a protest vote any longer…too many are done with the duopoly!

Hell will freeze before I vote for a Republican or a Democrat in this or any election for the foreseeable future

    • Kristoff

I think its a bit crazy to say “I will never do…” There are good people in each party. For the most part I do not affiliate with any party and just don’t even look at it. I will vote for the best friend of the liberty movement regardless of party.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Alex-Wallenwein/542301572 Alex Wallenwein

Why is Ron Paul waffling and whitewashing his party’s outrageous behavior in cutting out his supporters?? If he had any backbone, he would be out there FIGHTING for them! This is what I don’t like about him. He isn’t serious about winning. He never was – but WE are, Dr. Paul!

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1145972245 Jim Anible

he knew running on the republican ticket he wouldnt win, but he made the truth come out real clear, now its up to everyone to keep spreading that truth and pave a path for Gary Johnson to steam role with votes.

      • Honesty777

No way he is only on the Ballot in 40 States and I just don’t like him and as you can see Ron Paul supporters don’t agree with Johnson We will write Ron Paul in on the Ballot

  • http://www.facebook.com/yvette.sabin Yvette Sabin

Good Lord, Almighty – the spoken truth is beautiful to behold! Dr. Paul is a National Treasure!

  • Jujahnja

I am a HUGE fan of Ron Paul but I sincerely believe that a vote for him will ultimately be a vote for Obama. I am going to reluctantly vote for the Romney/Ryan ticket and keep my fingers crossed.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1047505137 Derek Easton

But. Romney is no different. Can you point out why you want Romney in there over Obama? Anyone but Obama is not a good enough answer. Please ask yourself this question and maybe you will come to the same conclusion that so many of us have. There is no difference.

    • Daren Ferreira

Then you’re a fan of Ron Paul, but not the message I suppose.. There’s a difference between the two, and Ron Paul would rather you be a fan of the latter.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1145972245 Jim Anible

this type of thinking is what is wrong in america. every vote counts no matter where it is, take pride in standing against the grin even if our candidate dosent win the numbers show support and catches others interest and soon the change will happen to many want instant gratification for their decisions, persistence is the key to sucess. vote Gary Johnson, if he isnt on the ticket write him in.

      • Honesty777

Ron Paul doesn’t even endorse Gary Johnson and neither do we..We will write Ron Paul in on the Ballot..we for the most part are not Libertarians !

    • Honesty777

I’am voting my Conscience we tried voting the lesser of what we thought might be the lesser of two evils last time and MCcain co- sponsored the NDAA act and Romney said “i would have signed it” ..Nope i’m writing in Ron Paul on the Ballot

  • Linda Johnson Treat

Can you not get it in your heads….he is not going to endorse Mitt Romney! And thank God for it! WE WILL NEVER VOTE FOR MITT ROMNEY…GET IT …..NEVER!!!!!! We do not vote for Cheaters and liars and that is what Romney is….a liar and a cheater.

    • Linda Johnson Treat

and …he has pissed us off so terribly by cheating….we might just vote for Obama to boot!!!!!!!!!!

      • http://www.facebook.com/richard.owens.186 Richard Owens

        Or Gary Johnson!

        • Scott

          I’m writing in Ron Paul!

          • TheCapitalist

Writing in Ron Paul will do nothing. The only message you can send is by voting Johnson.

          • RonTakeOne

There is a process, different for every state, to get a write in candidate approved. Write ins are counted if this process is followed. Any vote other than Obama or Romney will bring their popular vote down. What does it say about our “democracy” when the “elected” president doesn’t even have a third of the country’s registered voters support? Things like this will wake people up.

      • Honesty777

No way do we intend to vote for Obama every state has to have a place where u can get a paper ballot here is the courthouse and we are writing in Ron Paul!!!

        • tonythebrain

I’m voting for Obama, because if Romney wins we setback the movement 8-12 years instead of 4 years. Why would you, out of emotion and not logic, vote a write-in when that could possibly cause Romney to win instead of him losing? Clearly we should be doing whatever gets Romney to lose so we can run a liberty candidate in 2016, and not have to wait for 2020 or 2024 if Romney wins.

          • TheCapitalist

Write in Johnson? Why Obama? Obama will probably win anyway, but by voting Johnson you wil send a clear message. And writing in Paul does nothing.

      • wwhaas@msn.com

If I was in a swing state I would vote for Obama!
But I live in California so I’m writing in Ron Paul.
We can’t let Mitt Romney win, after what he did to us!
Keep in mind how nice Ron Paul was to him throughout the whole campaign!!
We need a constitutional candidate in four years no holes barred

  • TVpicksthePresident

What a brilliant man. It’s too bad he can’t ever get an actual intelligent interview. He has to twist stupid, pointless questions around in order to not completely waste our time.

  • David Lango

Senator Tom Davis from South Carolina has that pound your fist on the table boldness that Ron Paul avoids in being so polite. There will be MORE Liberty Candidates. Thank you Dr. Ron Paul for helping to wake us all up with simple profound honesty and educated insight. Please retire. You’ve over-earned it, staying in the House of Representatives by reason of your good conscience. We have new people awake and young and ready to pick up the reins on your wagon train of Liberty. We’ll get the troops home. Perhaps I myself should run for Congress so I can get in there and try and do my job like YOU did. I hear the backsliding majority wouldn’t let you help pass a balanced budget. Well if enough of us invest what it takes, we’ll be an unstoppable majority, and wealth will finally begin to build in the U.S. Treasury and the Fed can go away.

  • http://twitter.com/BillyRayBilly56 Brog17

Ron Paul will be my write in candidate. Baritt Obamney is the same ol same ol…..wake up america!!

  • http://twitter.com/LeapingFar Karen

Cavuto keeps asking Ron Paul why he won’t support and endorse Romney, well the answer is so obvious as to why he won’t, why does continue to ask? The guy Romney is for Wars number one and NDAA, the Patriot Act, backs AIPAC for the Israeli Govt to steal other countries land and resources and go after with War for them, and he’s not truly for the little people, which is the majority of US citizens. And this and other profound, significant reasons I don’t support Romney too.
I don’t want to see Obama win, we have two evils to choose from and I’m not sure yet who I’ll be voting for, a write-in for Ron Paul or maybe he’ll run 3rd Party. This is all so disappointing, I wanted to see a President Ron Paul.

    • Honesty777

He doesn’t have the money or the time to go third party..i’m with you on this but he is not rich like Romney..I will just write Ron Paul in on the Ballot

  • phylax

How does the power elite get people to vote for a non-entity, a fraud, a man they use to front for the cheats, liars, manipulator, and controllers that we never see? How do they do it? They do it by making us believe there is a difference between those two front men – there isn’t. My description fits both Romney and Obama.

  • Mark

Well that sucks, Maybe if Gary Johnson would pick Ron Paul as a VP, Hmmmmm I sure hope so, that would give the world something to talk about.

  • http://twitter.com/taxfreecig Edward Smokes Cigars

Funny to see Cavuto trying to get Dr. Paul to endorse somebody. He isn’t going to endorse anyone at that convention. Just got back from the corner of Channelside drive and Meridian where the police checkpoint is for conventioneers entering. Thank you to the 2 dozen or so good young people who stood out there in the hot sun with me holding Ron Paul signs and greeting the delegates as they walked by. YOU ARE THE FUTURE. I’m an honorably discharged veteran of a foreign war and I don’t think much of somebody that gets called up and then gets a deferment for chicken shit reasons like Romney did 4 times. You should have heard the cops I was talking to after I mentioned Romney’s cowardice, they were pissed off to hear about that. Seems the media don’t want nobody to know Romney is a coward too as well as a liar, cheater and fraud.

My vote will forever be in my heart knowing I did the right thing. I will be writing Ron Paul in.

    • http://twitter.com/dayo_bliss Dayo Bliss

It is too late .. unfortunately, you can’t write Ron Paul in .. if you try to do it, most likely your vote won’t be counted .. check the rules for write-in candidates for your state .. we will now be forced to vote for either Romney, Obama, or Johnson .. take your pick .. this is a sad situation ..

      • thecapitalist

Voting Johnson is not a sad situation. This is the right pick now that Paul is out. Yeah it probably will secure Obama another 4-years. But better than 8 of fliflopromney. And besides that, many people are going to vote libertarian , and the media just can’t ignore it when that happens.

        • http://www.facebook.com/foznor John Foster

They CAN and WILL ignore it because they won’t SEE it happen.
The voting machines are demonstrably RIGGED. They were rigged for Romney in the primaries and that is easily proved by any statistician worth their salt. Voting results don’t change by 10-15% in an algorithmic straight line as precincts get larger. Never happens! That’s why exit polls, telephone polls, etc all work so well: Percentages stay roughly equal throughout! BUT NOT in this years primaries – EXCEPT where there were hand-counts. Nearly every state with a central tabulator showed evidence of Romney vote rigging. Don’t worry, Romney will win because the machines are RIGGED for him to win. AND NOTHING WILL BE DONE ABOUT IT! (Just like in the primaries)

    • Honesty777

      Me too!!!

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Tyler-Clark-Wiest/680293766 Tyler Clark Wiest

    Hey guys,

Please consider Gary Johnson. Many of us, don’t like Romney or Obama. If you vote for Johnson, the libertarian candidate. There’s a chance he won’t win, but if he gets at least 15% he can participate in the debates with Romney and Obama. That would help spread Ron Paul’s message.

Ron Paul still might endorse Johnson as well.

  • tuckchristine

Gary Johnson’s foreign policy is exactly like Romney and Obama. This is
the only reason I will not be voting for Gary. If I believed that he
had a foreign policy like Ron Paul he would have my vote. But, I
talked with Johnson when he came to Colorado for quite a while. He has
the exact same policy as Romney and Obama.

  • Saltydog

I wouldn’t vote for Roboma or Obomney if they were running for dog catcher in a one dog town !!!!!!

  • http://www.facebook.com/texashale Michael Hale

Dr. Paul, we love you and have the utmost respect for you! Thank you so much for your service, for reigniting the torch of Liberty for us to carry. Since the RNC has been so diabolical by completely shutting you and us out, I will no longer look to them for a candidate. I am now supporting Gary Johnson because he is mostly like minded with you. God bless you!

To the Liberty Crier, we need much more news on Gov. Johnson! Thanks for what you do!

  • 2nephi32

    I love this man.

  • http://twitter.com/LeapingFar Karen

After watching this video a few times and giving it more thought, it seems Ron Paul realizes at this point that he’s not going to win. There are now two people competing to win the next Presidency now and I have to decide, which one do I dislike the most, who I don’t want to help lead the republic and that is the person I will “NOT” Vote for. And that’s the choice I have at the is point given all the circumstances after today’s GOP Convention in electing the official Republican candidate. Bottom line, that’s my only choice, the reality of who I must vote for now.
A write-in of Ron Paul still wouldn’t make enough of a difference to get him elected.

    • CthulhuRising

All your support does is legitimize their actions, voting for bad candidates will not encourage them to field better ones. You are subsidizing their idiocy.

  • Honesty777

Seriously? Are the soft peddling him? HELL YES THEY ARE, they refuse to allow Ron Paul to gain any traction in the media because his message has legitimate subsistence. These yahoos we have running have no idea how to help get us out of this mess. Oh well, I’ll pencil RP’s name on my ballot anyways. Big gov’t and media have crushed him before he even had a chance. America has no chance.

  • donjusko

Notice Ron Paul calls them “establishment Republicans”, not conservatives.
“Due to our Liberty Movement’s youth, energy, and growing numbers, establishment Republicans are recognizing their days of controlling the national GOP are coming to an end.”
Neal Cavuto (by asking double entendre questions) is calling them conservative Republicans.
    Fox is bad news.

  • http://www.facebook.com/DUPDAWG Todd W. Dupler

    Write in Ron Paul!

  • GOPsucksDONKEYballsPUNintended

He’s voting Gary Johnson… and so am I!

    • http://twitter.com/LeapingFar Karen

But, if you vote Johnson, he’s not going to win either, so in essence voting for for him or a write-in for Paul would make no difference either. We will be voting between 2 people only who will become our next President, so who do want most, Obama, or Romney? and that’s the reality of it.
I’m hoping Romney will have liberty minded people in his administration who can help guide and influence him. We need to get Liberty minded elected now to the senate. Romney is Liberty minded to a degree, there is hope. Obama has a agenda that he’ll follow no matter what and he’s really dangerous with no hope to change him.

      • CthulhuRising

Romney is not liberty minded, he supports the PATRIOT Act, the NDAA, gun control efforts, increased militarization, among other things. It was Romney adviser Ben Ginsberg who proposed RNC rule changes designed specifically to prevent another Paul-like insurgency. It was the GOP and the Romney campaign who lobbied to have those who won their hard fought delegate status stripped for supporting Paul. It is folly to think this man is liberty minded. Ryan voted to remove all sunset provisions from the PATRIOT Act, making it permanent, and voted against an amendment to the NDAA exempting US citizens from it’s application. Romney and Obama will both have you submit.

  • http://www.facebook.com/kenneth.oliver.397 Kenneth Oliver

Think long and hard in that voting booth if you’re of the mind to cast a write-in. Our choices are clear, whether WE made that choice or not. If Obama is who you want least, your write-in could get him that much closer to reelection. At this point, a write-in vote is a prideful rebellion at best because it won’t accomplish a thing. It would only work if half of the nation followed suit and that is not going to happen, I assure you.
