Israel, would you consider voting Johnson if Paul doesn’t make it? We still can take over the GOP and do all the stuff you talked about in this video, but why shouldn’t we also vote for Johnson?

  • doodls

Where have you been Israel? You said nothing about a break on your last episode, you say nothing about why there hasn’t been a show since May 17 on this episode. Is it just serendipitous that you’re back today or was it planned?

Ron Paul CAN still win the nomination! Let’s not give up now! Just keep becoming delegates and head to Tampa in August and see how it all plays out! remember delegates are NOT bound!!! Don’t give up hope all these latest events will just make it easier to get Ron Paul supporters elected as delegates!

    • sjaybridge

I hope they fight for that rule that delegates are not bound but it sounds to me that they will not.

      • Eric

they can still opt out of voting the first round but have you heard that a couple hundred are suing the RNC and Mitt Romney because they went against there rules on helping a candidate before he won the nomination and are asking him if they are unbound a free to vote their conscience so we shall see how that plays out.

I had just posted the following comment on a different RP FB Page and copied it before I left. I watched your “News for June 8th” video and my previous comment is related so I’ll share. But first, How can I, a 55 year old Democrat, Union member, High School drop out with an otherwise squeaky clean public record, make a difference as a “dog catcher”? I worked for a city gov’t in my youth but I couldn’t take the “system” or Standard Operating Procedures that were expected of you. I quit my dream job for my ideals. Anyway, here’s my comment:
I pray that out of the masses of “youngsters” at Ron Paul’s rally’s, come some new age politicians who value true honesty and integrity above the lure of the trappings of being rich and famous. There was a time when to be crooked was the exception and not the rule. Our once World Class Government that was the envy of the world has evolved and morphed into a morbidly obese drug addict and it’s time for rehab. If the public demands it, Honest Politicians and a Lean and Mean Government can become the norm again. Ron Paul really does have the right plan whether Mitt and Sachs and your Mama want to admit it or not. This election isn’t over and it might just be a perfect storm situation for our man, Dr.Ron Paul. Never quit. Especially since there’s no other worthwhile option anyway. Only Ron Paul in 2012!!!

Ron should phrase things like you have about filling evey position from the bottom up and taking power from the president. A president funded by the people for the people. not corporate citizens.

  • ShamanX

Thanks for the update Israel. I think we would all agree that the good doctor has earned a rest. It was interesting these past couple of weeks to see the dynamics that emerged within the Liberty Movement with a dearth of news and information. It would seem that Doctor Paul has made it clear that the way forward by becoming active in government at all levels. And, in particular stripping down the Republican party to its core liberty principles.

I’ve been posting on the ‘Iowa Republican’ website which has more than a few mainstream members that are hostile to Ron Paul, but some that are just everyday Republicans that don’t seem to get the Liberty Movement. I’ve let them know clearly that we are coming and we are going to force the party conversation to measure against the principles of liberty and individual property rights and limited government.

I’m from Iowa, but you don’t need to be for anyone that cares to add their voice. http://www.theiowarepublican.com. Their hostility caused me to get a little snarky with my tone in a few posts (ShamanX) but I am trying to keep the bar of civility higher. I am not pulling punches however about the liberty issues that the Republican party cannot be allowed to turn away from.

Anyway.. glad to see you in action again.

Great stuff. Encouraging amongst so much discouragement.

  • Jeff Taylor

Great inspiring show Israel! It’s good to hear someone focused for the long term on the “war” and not just one “battle”.

I commented thusly to some friends recently after Rand Paul endorsed Romney:

“There are many who feel that [his endorsement] is akin to treason by Rand, and abandonment of the cause for Liberty. The pro-Paul blogs are reflecting many who are saying they’ll abandon the campaign in favor of voting for Gary Johnson, not voting at all, or taking to the streets again with the OWS group.

“I have the feeling Ron Paul and his son decided the “movement” was getting to the point where they feared Tampa would become an actual revolution in the streets and inside the convention itself in the face of Republican party opposition to them. Not wanting his supporters to turn to violence over HIS chances to become the Presidential nomination (something he concedes is mathematically impossible on the first ballot), they’ve decided to “deflate” the enthusiasm for HIM (personally) and focus on winning the election against Obama. More importantly, continue to take over the Republican Party peacefully from within until the voice of Liberty is heard and heeded by ALL Republicans both during, and after Tampa.

“Many who supported Dr. Paul feel that neither Obama OR Romney is worth voting for. I, for one, am one of them. But I believe the elections for all other political positions has taken on a new urgency.”

It’s good to hear your practical advice on how to go about doing this. Keep up the great work!

  • Mariangela

    Thank you. That’s excellent!

  • jrosete

Every Ron Paul (supportive) delegate should just break the RNC rules! Even if Ron Paul doesn’t win it will still be a HUGE blow to the establishment.

  • Ron Paulbot

I was devastated at Jesse Benton’s announcement that Ron Paul will not secure enough votes to push a brokered convention. I am utterly discouraged after Rand Paul’s endorsement of Romney.

I will vote for Ron Paul, but I cannot bring myself to support this campaign further. I cannot foresee any scenario by which I could be enticed to vote for Rand Paul – regardless of how he positions himself. I fear Rand’s posturing relative to liberty, is nothing more than pandering to a constituency which will be betrayed once the price is right.

I no longer believe this nation can be put on the right track without the kind of revolution which created it. When ballots fail, bullets prevail.

    • skippy dolittle

You are playing right into the hands of the enemy with that attitude. Pick yourself up brush yourself off and keep marching. Don’t lie down and piss in the air like a whipped dog! WE are the only ones that can defeat ourselves by giving up!

  • ExFoxNewsFan

Very good show. 10 minutes after Rand endorsed Romney I stumbled upon Gary Johnson’s latest ad “Be Libertarian with Me.” It’s not that I don’t support Ron Paul, but he’s not going to be on the ballot. Gary Johnson will be.

  • http://twitter.com/andrew_williams Andrew Williams

I am almost ready to give up on the GOP and build a third party base. The GOP is absolutely ridiculous! I just can’t stand to vote for Mitt Romney OR Barack Obama in this election, even if Rand Paul endorsed Mitt Romney or *gulp* become VP. I hope something crazy happens at the Convention. But, if it doesn’t I have to stick to my roots and continue the Revolution by putting my vote behind Gary Johnson.

  • Dan Hegelund

Wow! What an adrenaline rush! Great show!

  • British Paul Fan

You’re back! I’ve missed your videos and was worried about you. Keep up the good work. Not much sign of liberty in the UK so we need the USA to provide an example.

  • Philip

Israel, you do such a great job. I agree that Dr Paul himself needs rest and I salute him and all the amazing people standing as delegates and alternates. But really the official campaign has baffled me from the outset. Whilst good in parts, they have sometimes been very clumsy at precisely the wrong moment! They once staged a huge press event in a cafe which was swamped with reporters…only for Dr Paul to slip out the side door. They persistently claimed media bias which probably increased the bias rather than reduced it. Yes Dr Paul’s rallies are great, but college campuses are much too dominant…some are fine, but not virtually every venue. Dr Paul has many older supporters, including well-known ones (economists etc) who could be used far more effectively to persuade older voters. The recent announcement about no longer spending in primaries was absurd – voters need simple messages (you are either running or not), not confusing signals about campaign strategy. Rand’s announcement re Romney was equally baffling….even if there is some subtle thing going on there, why the hell say that right now?? Quite extraordinary.

All that said, I still hold out hope for Tampa, because ultimately Dr Paul is correct on all the major issues of our time, and that is what will prevail in the end. Let’s hope the campaign gets him and his delegates maximum national AND international coverage at that crucial juncture.

  • Steve Martin

Yes…but we NEED a rally point to accomplish anything. Despite all the disappointments associated with the Pauls the past five years, they have successfully herded the cats in the same general direction which is impossible for anyone to do without a billion dollar war chest. Not that we should be into hero worshipping like some Paul followers are…but we do need a rallying point.

This video make21s me feel so much better about the upcoming convention. I’m in my 50’s and have never seen politics be so ruthless and dishonest as this one. Although 2008 was a doozy as well. I will confess, this is the first time I’ve been truly afraid of my government and the UN. I’ve wanted us out of the UN since the late 1970’s and I can’t believe the grip they have on the world today…thanks, in part, to the billions of US dollars and thousands of military and civilian lives, wasted on “justice and human rights” What a pile of dung. I am inspired to do as the video instructs. My city is riddled with cronyism and wasteful government spending. We are still waiting for our new multi-million dollar Court House, which is 7 years overdue, millions over budget and failed the fire safety tests after they had already moved everything from the not so old Court House. Trials have been postponed for weeks, marriage licenses, child support, etc, not being handled. Wedding deposits are being lost and children are going hungry. So what are the officials arguing about? Whether they can spend $750,000 or $1,000,000 to buy new leather furniture for the judges chambers and who is going to pay “them” back all the (taxpayer) money that has been wasted moving Court House necessities from building to building. It’s absolutely sickening. On a side note, my city is also the proud home of the New Black Panthers and Corrine Brown. We desperately need Ron Paul to lead us. If not from the White House, then from the internet. And a sincere thanks to all the young people who support Mr. Paul. I know too many 20 & 30 something’s that are still enamored with Obama. It’s good to know you all are out there. Thank you. I will sleep a lot better tonight :)

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jo-Jackson/100000310000833 Jo Jackson

One more thing. Do not let the words of Rand Paul lead you away from the fight for liberty. I will see what Israel has to say in his next video before I make any conclusions. He may have struck a deal with Romney for a position he needs if Romney does make it into the White House. Not a bad thing.

    • Louisville2

Rand Paul taking ANY position in a Romney White House is a bad thing.

You sleep with the devil and you’ll catch his diseases, you won’t cure him.

That’s why I decided that I was going to make up for it by telling other people who otherwise may not vote at all, about Ron Paul, and getting them to vote for him

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jack-Smith/100000173561075 Jack Smith

I am a Ron Paul supporter, and I’ll always be, yes, I have to admit I’m saddened regarding the outcome of the primaries and the possible “defeat” for the nomination, but, we have to understand this movement is way beyond getting Ron Paul to the White House, it’s about us, the American People getting our country back to its principles, it is not about getting our names on a marquee for everyone to admire, it’s about fighting for the future of our country, it’s about paving the way for next generations to have a better future, free of oppression, free of unneccessary government intervention, free of immorality, free of abuse.
The other candidates (Romney and Obama) they do not care about the country, they just care about their names being mentioned and their pictures posted everywhere, it’s all about them and not about WE THE PEOPLE, listen to their speeches and rethoric, they always reference themselves as they were some kind of all-wise, all-powerful kings where their “plans” and only their “plans” are the right ones.
True patriots like us fight anonymously, we don’t need to get our names written on golden scrolls or our portraits hung on museums, we fight because we love our country and want to leave a good legacy to generations to come.
This country is “sick” and we are the cure, it will be a long battle but at the end we will prevail, reason and liberty will prevail, the worst thing we can do now is to give up and turn our backs.
Remember, we are AMERICANS and we can accomplish anything when we set our minds to it.
Keep the faith, keep up the good fight.
    God bless America.

    • http://www.facebook.com/jenznie Jennifer Nie

I like what you posted, but please do not vote for either candidate Romney or Obama, please write in Ron Paul’s name anyway, it is truly having your vote count, your voice heard by both sides, and beleive me they keep track of this. We can still succeed as a movement, but voting for ewither candidate is exactly what each side hopes you will do, and that is a half stand for Liberty, don’t do it! Jen.

  • DanielSparkPlugTanure

I’m really afraid that the Ron Paul movement will start becoming all about Ron Paul and not about liberty. That’s cult of personality and that wouldn’t make us different from the Obama supporters who appologize for everything the guy does.

Every time I’ve made plans for the future without taking a “hard” look at the present I’ve had my tail handed to me. I’m not trying to discourage anyone but we need to realize: 1) we have a debt that may not be sustainable for 4 more years. $16T National Debt, $119T in Liabilities (Social Security, Medicare, & Prescription Drug Coverage), we are at 102% GDP which mean we spend more then we make (basically) and although it’s only an offset of 2%, when you think in terms of Trillions of Dollars you’ll certainly have cause for worry. Many people also don’t know that every newborn baby in this country instantly accrues a debt of $50,000 and every taxpayer is indentured to this debt to the tune of over $1 Million and rising. 2) we are already operating in Syria (humanitarian- “right”), we’re forming a blockade around Iran, not to mention flying drones in and around their airspace and imposing sanctions which in essence are an act of war. Our repeated intervention in these countries for 60+ years has created enemies around the world and eventually (SOON) we’ll have to be accountable for those action; and folks…, it’s not going to be pretty. Especially when you consider that the cages we are “rattling” have allies like Russia and China (who by the way with Japan own 50.2% of our debt). It’s great to be optimist…, and in a majority of cases that mentality is well suited to sustain us through hard times; but at this point the reality and severity of our countries situation requires that we not put all our eggs in the, “let’s change things from the inside out” basket. I will keep fighting for Ron Paul and the campaign like I have been; but when I see people walking around with rose colored glasses thinking and hoping that filling position over the next ??? years will bring about the change needed when at this point this country is bleeding-out fiscally, morally, and socially; it’s just utterly heartbreaking.

Hope for the best but prepare for the worst- is the only sound advice I could give people. If you haven’t started do it now is the time. Take care folks, be smart & be Blessed. :)

I wish people would quit twiating this email, it DOES not say Romney has the delegates 1144 needed wither. We can fill GOP slots, but who cares about the GOP and the DEMS, you can still vote Ron Paul that sends the biggest message, it is the only way your voice is truly heard and your vote is not wasted, It sends a message to both sides, make no mistake they keep track of it. as far as Liberty goes, this movement will continue, Ron Paul told you this, You can still succeed with the mission of Liberty while writing in Ron Paul. I will not let anyone fill my head to serve anothers agenda.

  • http://www.facebook.com/jenznie Jennifer Nie

I don’t care if Romney loses, I faith in the Liberty movement. The Republican party failed me, why should I support it. Obama failed the Dems, why support him!

  • http://www.facebook.com/jenznie Jennifer Nie

Israel I hear what your saying and I agree with a slightly differnet twist, but I like you view on it the most of any I have heard so far. Still I will will go with my mind and heart, support Dr.Paul and will not have my head filled with anything that tells me otherwise, why should I? The message I originally believed in is a good one, the best. I believe that is what you are trying to say here, you are pointing out that aside from the GOP nomination there is still much we can do in the name of Liberty, I agree, I like that. As far as Rand goes, I don’t like it, it seems like quitting or caving, unless there really were threats against Ron Paul that made him feel he had to endorse Mitt I see know other justification for it yet. I will have to hear from Ron Paul’s lips, which I assume we will hear something today at the Texas event. I think Jesse Benton damaged the campain, the camign had to do damge control for that, by RP setting things straight, not only were the words Jesse used unacceptable, but his timing was also a killer. Now MSM has the ability to spin what took place as something that will be far from how it really was, they already have. Jen.

Change the GOP’s policies? Really? That’s naive, wishful thinking
    Rand Paul betrayed us!
Ron Paul left us; We didn’t leave him!
    “The Dream is over.”

    • RPaul_4president

      Rand’s endorsement
works as a diversion, whether done with intent or not, it serves a purpose. If
you drive and shake a stick in a basket full of snakes and place your hand in
it expecting not to be bitten, your a fool. GOP is a basket full of snakes and
Ron Paul winning delegates is … well, the stick… I guess you get the
picture. Rand’s endorsement sooth the agnst … lol

      The country
has been lost for quite some time and waking people up is a monumental task.
Let us stop fighting among us. You are dreaming if you think this fight will be
over any time soon. These bilderbergs have a tight power grip around the
countries neck. The Ron Paul revolution is in phase one yet. There’s still a
      lot to do.

      We all need
to be patient: ‘Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves; be ye
therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

      Have some
compassion towards Ron Paul and his lovely wife Carol. All this flaming against
Rand must bring a lot of suffering to both of them. All that energy can be put
to some useful purpose. Dr. Paul has given his live and blood to this cause for
30 years. Him and his family deserve respect and all the support we can give
them. God bless you and don’t stop giving your all to this cause. Follow Dr.
Paul’s example, he has not and will not quit. May God’s Grace be with him and

I am confused; what happened to the Warren G.Harding example with only 28 delegates going in to the convention and his winning the nomination? Why roll over now when we have over 200-300 delegates. Why have you changed your tune? I was waiting for some encouraging news after your long abscence. I’ll write in Ron Paul rather than vote for any other.

I think he was threatened and why he announced not to campaign in the last primary states.

We’re all assuming to much without knowing all the facts that went on an go on behind closed doors.

Good to see you again Israel! I like your hair better pulled back.

    Thank You Israel Anderson!
The real destruction would be: us starting flip flopping on trusting Ron Paul before we hear from himself that he is not anymore standing for what his message has always been, or until we see a deed from him which is the opposite of that message!
I was watching the internet these past days and I wonder: How can some people just forget what he is standing for and has stood for for so many years?
This doubt only shows our own instability.
It is time for each one of us to work on ourselves to become the free individual on which Ron Paul has been counting, and giving his trust for all these Years – I believe taht a free individual does not flip flop on supporting Ron Paul just because he is saying that he does not have enough delegates to win the nomination, or because his son is endorsing Mitt Romney.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Christopher-Watkins/1338564264 Christopher Watkins

This is my theory…Paul won’t get the nomination BUT because Romney needs to unite the GOP, he will have to find a way to get Paul and his supporters in the tent so to speak.

With that said Rand Paul “supports” Romney to continue to build his coalition within the Party for the future Liberty movement? But Romney still has to reach out to Ron Paul and his supporters so to get his support Romney agrees to appoint Ron Paul as Secretary of Treasury and Jim Grant as the new head of the Federal Reserve.

What this then does is allow for some drastic changes to the economy but sets up the volley to truly begin to fix this country.

Ron Paul and Jim Grant go to work ending the Federal Reserve in three years. They allow competing currency so that they are better able to eventually bring the US dollar back to a gold standard. This then makes Congress have to find a way to truly balance the budget, which also means ending these wars and bringing our troops home.

Meanwhile we have Rand Paul gaining more traction and support in the Senate and he then leads the Congress by being the unifying voice over Congress to reign in the fiscal instability and civil liberties issues.

Then people like Justin Amash, Ted Cruz, Thomas Massie, and Kurt Bills (to name a few) begin building the liberty coalition within the GOP and the Congress.

Its not the ideal Libertarian take over that we may have imagined but it is almost like an infiltration of Liberty movement that will begin to hold the Congress to the fire, while building the support for more! Then when they hold the next House Reps and Senate seats we gain a few more and then a few more and then…

sucks that it took you this long to come up with a 8 minute video. i know you are not getting paid but you had a lot of people hanging and depending on you to answer questions throughout all these crazy developments this week. a simple 15 second video to tell us you need a break maybe somebody else can fill in your spot…a friend of yours perhaps

I never thought about running for lower office, until the Ron Paul Revolution started. Now I am considering it.

  • Jordan

Cool! My friend and I used part of that Thomas Paine quote as my senior quote in my high school yearbook!

  • Mr. Peanut

Thank you Israel, this was the breath fresh air I needed amongst the dark rain clouds that have been appearing lately.

Phenomenal, Mr Israel Anderson! That was, by far, your best segment yet. Your comments further inspired, motivated, and made hungry our desire, no, our need, for Liberty. The sleeping giant is now fully awake…

Do not be too disappointed about Ron Paul. It is the message, the idea and not the man who will set you free! Access to this freedom can not rest on one person, because the pressures are too great for the shoulders of one man. Every defender of freedom must become a Ron Paul. The revolution of the United States should be the realization of a whole people and not that of one man who can be so vulnerable.
American; go learn your constitution and teach about it!

The Revolution is on!!! Lets raise hell in Tampa. No to the NWO.

READ THIS PEOPLE; its about getting what we want even without getting the actual nomination, Israel is right. And this is just the beginning of it. We will exact the change we want one way or another, by continuing to be loud and standing up for the things that we want to happen in this country.

And if a MAINSTREAM newspaper is even acknowledging this, you know we did something right.

All these negative things now flooding around the internet about Ron Paul, from people who used to be his supporters, that is the best food that the Establishment has tasted for a very long time! They are very happy now! I am very sad! Ron Paul has been fighting for Liberty all these many years, even before his son had anything to do with politics, I do not know why Rand is doing what he does, so I can not judge, but what ever You think about Rand, Ron Pauls message was the same before and after his son joined politics. STOP FEEDING THE ESTABLISCHMENT!

  • Julie

Stop saying “were not going to win this nomination or the POTUS” sounds like you don’t want us to
even try in Tampa. We want a chance to vote at Tampa. Just a month or so ago YOU ALL said
we have enough to nominate from the floor and / or enough already to have him on tampa vote. You
wan a tell us exactly how that has changed, PLEASE. Seems none of you want to talk about that!
Quit looking slimy and tell us the truth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont think we will make it to another election, might not even make it to this one…

Israel, Ron Paul says he does not have enough delegates, he nowhere says that Mitt has enogh, that is important to note. Ron Paul has not sasi he is NOT still working to win and his supporters have not quit working towards a win. Look at the facts and the numbers and note, a brokered convention can happen, and looks more likely than in years. If Ron Paul gets 650 delegates and alreday expects to take 500 plus to Tampa, so while your message is correct and I like it, it is necessary whether or not Ron gets GOP nominee or not, most importantly after Ron Wins, do not imply Ron Paul will not win GOP nominee or Presidential Election, it is still premature. Thank you. I really appreciate your time and video info. Take care and good job! Jen. PS I am so glad you are not yapping about Rand everyday. I like him, I think most of us do, but it distracts from the task at hand and …it gets on our nerves. Thanks Jen.

No more Rand Paul talk K, we just have to have faith in him, and keep Rands actions seperate from the Ron Paul movement, there is much work to do. Thanks Jen.

Come November, events pending, I will write in RON PAUL if I have to. It’s Paul or nobody.

  • Winston Larison

I just had an innocent question on your Ron Paul Flix group. Why wouldn’t you just answer my question? I wasn’t trying to cause problems or be rude I just had a simple question about Libertarian-ism. Was Luke’s (who ever he is) comment not appropriate, was it profane, or did it show some sort of flaw in the Libertarian belief system? I do consider myself a Libertarian so this is why I am asking. Thank you, Winston Larison
