  • Reza Ziaeian

    that’s a great news.
I am not American, but I love Ron paul, I hope he will win. I don’t want to be rude, but  I actually want to criticize The elections in USA in form of questions.
Why should it be so complicated? why should the candidates first be elected whithin their party? Why couldn’t just the people vote for their candidate in one day election?
Why is there only 2 parties? why can’t the candidates who run as independent participate in TV debates?

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1305669530 Gary Steele

The party system is a great way to create a Us vs. Them environment.  Its supposed to be a way for like minded people to be able to share their ideas and work together to get one of their representatives into the office that they are running for.  People tend to forget that their are more then two parties.  There are many many parties.  Problem is the main two parties has the most money and its costly to setup the debates and get caucuses and primaries going.  So people like Dr. Ron Paul end up having to run under a party that he doesn’t exactly belong to.  The mainstream politicians are using special interests as a way to win votes over.  Special interests could include abortions, gun rights, property rights, unions, immigration, military, border patrol, social programs and many others that I can’t think of at this moment.  Problem is, is that these special interests doesn’t really matter.  If people would default to the Constitution and uphold it, then most of these issues wouldn’t matter.  Instead they vote special interest and end up with corrupt politicians who did nothing for them in the first place.  I am seriously convinced that both parties really have the same agenda once they are in office.  Strip the rights of Americans (both parties are guilty of this), spend more tax money then they are receiving (again both parties are guilty of this), and line their wallets in the process (and again both parties are guilty of this).  There really needs to be more Ron Paul’s.  Even if/when he wins office, how much is he really gonna get done?  He has a corrupt congress that he has to work with and get approval for everything he tries to come up with.  Getting him in office is a good start, but this country has a long ways to go and need a lot more people like Ron Paul before we see this country turn around.

      • johnwu

what you say about congress is true. here’s hoping that president paul would utilize the bully pulpit (preferably without media dishonesty) to the max to convince the people to finally wake up, which will galvanize them to TRULY take a stand against a corrupt congress.

I am liking her more every day. I think she might be a closet Ron Paul supporter… She bashes Obama a lot these days too.

    • TC1776

Maddow’s journalism is sharp and concise. But it is outright directed by her producers, who are following the MSNBC liberal script (in exactly the same way FoxNews follows the neocon script). Just look at what happened to Cenk Uyger and his attempt to strong arm the direction of his own show on MSNBC…which he no longer has.

Maddow is only as effective as her handlers allow her to be. Don’t expect any serious inquiry by her into Ron Paul’s campaign or platform, lest she end up on Al Gore’s CurrentTV with Cenk.

      • ThatLibertyGuy

I fully agree with both of you.

  • buildakicker

    “Ron Paul was right!”

  • Michael Henriques

    Ron Paul was Right …….

    AGAIN !!!!!

  • Joeystockdale

It is hard having to hear Maddow talk, so disingenuous.

The news just gets better and better!!! can’t wait for the convention when we win and hopefully have hundreds of supporters out side of the convention which might change some Un-bound Delegates minds.

  • ThatLibertyGuy

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – Ron Paul seems to bring out the best in Rachel Maddow.  He seems to have that effect on a lot of folks.  History shows that when the right message flows from the right vessel, anything is possible.  The R3volution is alive and well, thank you.

Typing in capital letters is rude. It’s like shouting. No one likes to be shouted at. I didn’t read your post because it’s all caps.

go Ron Paul. real change, protect the constitution and America.

  • Joergfelsch

    You are mistaken, Rachel.
All of us Ron Paul Supporters are exactly that:
“On the edge of our seats”
And so are You. You just don’t know it yet.

  • joemllnx

final certified votes? first Romney declared the winner, then Santorum declared the winner,  then the the Iowa Republican Chairman resigned. Ron Paul has locked up half the delegates, the others are not committed, therefore Ron Paul worst case is tie for first. Same with Minnesota…worst case is tie for first.

  • joemllnx

Texas is going for the Warren G Harding strategy.  Vote Ron Paul

  • RJ

    lol, R3VOLUTION baby!

  • http://www.facebook.com/SWAGJLB8 Amanda Ann Deur

Attention needs to be given to SCYTL counting the national election votes because the CEO is an Obama supporter and former Goldman Sachs executives are heavily invested in it as well. Goldman Sachs supported Obama in 2008 and now Romney in 2012

  • Tracy O’.

Oh my gosh~ I have never been a fan or a hater of Rachel Maddow but I am so THRILLED with her attempt at fair reporting and calling out how the Republican Nominee is not “on script” as those would have us believe!

  • Gwen_allen

Doing a party dance! Love this and love Ron Paul! Finally some worthy news from the mainstream media! Yah!

Rachel has always been good… its just she cannot report the absolute truth… she’s not dumb

  • Matt Tucker

Israel,  please try to get this message to Ron Paul

    President Paul
The power needs to be put back into the hands of the American people and taken out of the hands of the Criminal Elite
and so I came up with this:

WHENEVER A POLITICIAN WINS AN ELECTION WETHER LOCAL CITY STATE OR FEDERAL UP TO AND INCLUDING THE
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, ALL SUPREME COURT JUSTICES AND FEDERAL JUDGES, BEFORE THEY CAN LEGALLY BE SWORN IN, THEY MUST BE REQUIRED TO SIGN A “PERFORMANCE CONTRACT” WITH THE PEOPLE THEY REPRESENT OR THE ENTIRE NATION IF PRESIDENT,VP OR OTHER MAJOR TITLES. IF THEY REFUSE TO DO SO THEN THEY CANNOT TAKE OFFICE AND THE ELECTION STARTS OVER….WHAT THIS CONTRACT DOES IS GIVE THE POWER BACK TO THE PEOPLE SO THAT IF ANOTHER FRAUD USURPER ENDS UP IN OFFICE OR THEY START INVOLVING THEMSELVES IN CRIMINAL ACTIVITY OR ARE IN THE POCKETS OF OTHERS AND START REPRESENTING EVERYBODY EXCEPT FOR THOSE THEY WERE PUT IN OFFICE TO REPRESENT THEN THIS CONTRACT GIVES THE PEOPLE THE
RIGHT TO HOLD SPECIAL ELECTIONS AT ANY TIME THEY DEEM NECCESSARY AND THROW THEM OUT OF OFFICE WITHIN 72 HOURS…IF THEY REFUSE TO GO THEN THEY ARE TO BE APPROPRIATELY ESCORTED OUT THE FRONT DOOR  OR ARRESTED………………
