NNT made me understand that debt, militarism and bailouts make an interconnected world more fragile and the establishment candidates on both sides continue to pump risks into a system that could collapse very fast and very violently. We don’t need smarter leaders with better ethics. We just need to make sure they follow the Constitution (wars declared, sound money, liberty) so they can’t hurt us no matter how stupid and unethical they may be. NNT let me to RP, I hope RP leads some of you to NNT.

  Yes NNT is Nassim Nicholas Taleb. I didn’t know Ron Paul in 2008 and was disgusted with politics. I was studying, and am still studying,, all of Taleb’s writings and came to believe that politics was a waste of time because the only politician that could do any good would be one that came to power, but didn’t use that power. He would have to understand that the world, nations and people are far too complex to be controlled. He would have to resist peddling influence and micromanaging people’s moral or financial decisions. He would have to understand that there is nothing we can do to stop the from world is getting more and more complex, so we have to be guided by very simple rules, or risk creating very bad unintended consequences. Since then I have come to learn that there is a man like that and there are a set of rules like that. Ron Paul and the Constitution.

    I was the same way. Since the Constitution does not protect us anymore, and as you indicated politicians turn around after they get elected, I set about to write my own Constitution with safeguards that create a balance of power. I do not know what to do from here but it is absolutely possible to prevent a situation like what we are in for good.

I love Ron Paul. But he conveys the impression he wants a little “influence”, not be the President. People are voting for a President, so they want to give their vote to somebody who really wants to get it.

Fantastic clip. Here is another man with integrity, it seems. And there are signs that people are beginning to see that there is a groundswell, a movement, going on across America and the world. Ron Paul = 1. Ending the Deficits (primarily by ending the bloated Federal bureaucracy and overseas empire), 2. Ending the Federal Reserve and devaluation of the dollar ( beginning by introducing a silver- and gold-based alternative currency), 3. Yes, NT obviously can see the writing on the wall and is willing to do what is necessary to help RP. We also can do what
we can to support both. Send NT an email and thank him for going public and supporting RP. It should be a boost to RP
campaign. He is very direct in his articulation of what needs to be done. Cut to the chase. I appreciated that about him.
He obviously has a lot more to say, he seemed to hold back. I am sure that is why he wrote his book. It should be an
interesting read.
